The short version
- Some cookies are needed for the site to work and stay secure. These are always on.
- Analytics cookies help me see which pages are useful. Where the law requires it, they only run if you agree.
- I don’t use advertising cookies. confirm from the Wix dashboard
- You can change your choices at any time.
01What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. They let the site remember things between pages or visits, such as that you are a returning visitor or that you already answered the cookie banner. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in much the same way. In this policy, “cookies” covers all of them.
Cookies set by this website are “first-party” cookies. Cookies set by another company’s service, such as a booking or payment page, are “third-party” cookies.
This policy sits alongside the privacy policy, which explains how I handle personal information more generally.
02The kinds I use
| Kind | What it does | Your choice |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Keeps the site running and secure: loading pages reliably, protecting forms from abuse, and remembering your cookie choices. | Always on. The site can’t work properly without them. |
| Analytics | Counts visits and shows, in aggregate, which pages people read and how they found the site. | Only with your consent where the law requires it. You can say no and the site works the same. |
| Advertising | Not used. I don’t run ads or tracking pixels on this site. | confirm none are active in Wix |
03Cookies set by Wix
This website is hosted and run on Wix, which sets the essential and analytics cookies described above. Wix publishes a full, current list of the cookies it may use, with their names, purposes and how long each lasts, in its help centre article “Cookies and your Wix site”.
The exact cookies on this site depend on the Wix features it uses: site analytics, forms, the newsletter and the Journal.

04Other services
Booking and payment
The Threshold Session is booked on TidyCal, and payment is processed by Stripe or PayPal. When you open the booking page, those services may set their own cookies to make the booking work, keep payments secure and prevent fraud. Their cookies are covered by their own policies.
Fonts
The typefaces are stored on this website itself, so loading them involves no third party and sets no cookies.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to other websites, such as the work of clients featured on the Method page. Once you leave this site, that site’s own cookie policy applies.
05Managing your choices
The cookie banner
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Essential cookies run either way. consent banner to be enabled through Wix, to confirm
To change your answer later, use the cookie settings link at the bottom of any page, or clear the cookies for this site in your browser and the banner will ask again. “Cookie settings” footer link to confirm
Your browser
Every major browser lets you see, block and delete cookies, either for all sites or for one. Look for “Privacy” or “Cookies” in your browser’s settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of this site, such as the forms, from working.
Emails
The newsletter may record whether a letter was opened and which links were clicked. Most email apps let you turn off automatic image loading, which limits this.
06Changes to this policy
If the cookies this site uses change, I will update this page and the date at the top.
