Sessions are private and not recorded unless we both agree.

01About these terms

This website, ioanalucretia.com, and the Threshold Session are offered by Ioana Lucreția through Legacy Thought Leaders LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, USA. In these terms, “I”, “me” and “my” mean Ioana Lucreția and Legacy Thought Leaders LLC, and “you” means the person using the site or booking a session.

By using this website you agree to the website sections of these terms. By booking a session you also agree to the session sections. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site or book a session.

How I handle personal information is explained in the privacy policy and the cookie policy.

02Using this website

You may use this website for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don’t:

try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or the services behind it;
copy the site’s content in bulk, by scraping or any other automated means;
send spam, harmful code or misleading information through the forms.

I write the content of this site to inform and to provoke reflection. I do my best to keep it accurate and current, but I can’t promise that it always will be, or that the site will always be available.

The free guide, The Method, and my newsletter, The Next Legacy, are for your personal use. You’re welcome to forward a letter to a friend. Please don’t republish them or sell them. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in every letter.

05The Threshold Session

What it is

The Threshold Session is one private, 90-minute online conversation with me. We look at where you stand, what your life and expertise have gathered so far, and what your next step could be.

Booking and payment

The fee is US$1,300 for one session, paid in full in advance when you book. No sales tax or VAT is added.
Booking happens on TidyCal, and payment is processed by Stripe or PayPal. Their own terms apply to the payment itself.
Your session is confirmed once payment goes through and you receive a confirmation email with the date, time and joining details.
The session takes place on Zoom. You receive the link with your booking confirmation. Please join from a quiet, private space with a reliable connection.

06Rescheduling and refunds

Rescheduling. You can reschedule free of charge up to 48 hours before your session, using the link in your confirmation email.
Late changes and missed sessions. If you cancel or ask to reschedule within 48 hours of the session, or don’t attend, the session is forfeited and the fee is not refunded. If you join late, the session still ends at its scheduled time.
Refunds. If you cancel at least 7 days before your session, I will refund the fee in full. Cancellations between 7 days and 48 hours before can be rescheduled but not refunded.
If I need to reschedule. If I ever have to move a session, I will offer you a new time as soon as I can. If none suits you, I will refund the fee in full.

If you live in the EU or the UK

As a consumer in the EU or the UK, you have the right to cancel a service contract within 14 days of booking, without giving a reason. If your session is booked to take place within those 14 days, booking it means you ask me to provide the service before the 14 days are up. If you cancel within the 14 days and before the session takes place, you are entitled to a full refund, even if that is within 48 hours of the session. Once the session has been fully delivered, the right to cancel no longer applies. When you book, you will be asked to confirm that you want your session to take place within the 14 days.

Nothing in this section takes away any rights you have under the consumer law of the place where you live.

07What the session is not

The Threshold Session is a reflective conversation about your work and your direction. It is not therapy or counselling, and it is not medical, psychological, legal, financial or tax advice. It isn’t a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. If you need that kind of help, please seek it.

You remain responsible for the decisions you make, during and after our work together.

Results vary

The client case files on the Method page describe what particular people achieved, in their own circumstances, with their own effort. They are real, and they are individual. Your results will depend on many things, most of them yours, and I can’t guarantee any particular outcome.

08Confidentiality and recordings

Sessions are private. I keep what you share with me confidential, unless the law requires otherwise.
Sessions are not recorded, by either of us, unless we both agree in advance.
I will never share your story, name or results publicly, such as in a case file, without your explicit written permission.

09Other services and links

This site relies on services run by other companies, including Wix, TidyCal, Stripe and PayPal, and it links to other websites, such as those of clients featured on the Method page. I don’t control those services or sites and I’m not responsible for their content or how they work. Their own terms and policies apply.

10Responsibility

I take care with this site and with every session. Still, the law asks me to be clear about limits:

The website and its free content are offered as they are, for general information.
As far as the law allows, I’m not responsible for losses that come from relying on the website’s content, or for indirect losses such as lost profits or opportunities.
As far as the law allows, my total responsibility to you in connection with a session is limited to the fee you paid for it.
Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law doesn’t allow to be limited, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. If a disagreement arises, please write to me first. Most things can be settled in a conversation.

If you are a consumer living in the EU or the UK, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.

12Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time, and will change the date at the top when I do. The terms in place when you book a session are the ones that apply to that session.
